Rules for the Conduct of Contest

1. Maximum size for submission of art piece is A2 and minimum size is A4.
2. Digital drawings and speed-paints of said digital drawings are to be emailed to the official email account of the Artisan Contest: artisan@ncats.org.pk (speed-paint recordings are mandatory; art pieces will not be judged if not provided).
3. Any attempt/act of plagiarism will result in disqualification.
4. No assistance from any other person is allowed in the making of the art piece; contestant can be disqualified if done so.
5. The Jury will conduct the interview of all winners to check their technical knowledge/skill set. Winner contestants may be asked to redraw/repaint their submission in front of the jury in case of any suspicion.
6. Submissions after the deadline will NOT be accepted.
7. The art piece submitted will be the property of N-CATS.
8. The decision of the jury about awards and positions will be final and cannot be challenged at any forum. Fair judging by the professionals will be ensured.

Packing Instructions

• Paintings should be bubble wrapped and have a protective clear coat over them.
• Sketches and watercolour paintings are to be laminated to prevent any pencil lines and colour rubbing off.
• All physical submissions must have the contestant’s name, allotted roll number, grade, and school written on the back of the art piece.
• If packing both canvases and paper alike, then place the canvas first (facing down) in a box, add a sheet of bubble wrap, place the next canvas, and then place pages in a file resting on top of everything else.
• N-CATS will not be responsible for any damage done during the shipment process.

• Art Teacher: Rs: 1000 per head
• Amateur Category: Rs: 3000 per head
• Professional Category: Rs: 5000 per head
